Tenet is a Russian automobile brand created jointly by the Chinese company Defetoo and the Russian holding company AGR, which has owned former Volkswagen and Hyundai plants in Russia since 2022. It was announced in February 2025. The new Tenet T4 urban crossover was the first to hit the market. At the end of August 2025, the first sale of the Tenet T7 crossover in the Active 2WD version took place in Moscow. According to company representatives, the car was ceremoniously delivered to the buyer on the day of the sales launch. The Tenet T7 is the brand's first model on the Russian market, assembled in Kaluga and based on the popular Chery Tiggo 7. Sales of the new seven-seat Tenet T8 crossover, a localized version of the Chery Tiggo 8 with a new badge, began in September.
